Networking Opportunities
ACCE Convention 2008: INNOVATE! offers many ways for you to build bonds with a small group of colleagues that you can rely on, count as friends, and call upon for advice, before, during, and after the convention.
You'll have opportunities as informal as using the breaks between workshops to talk with peers or instructors about what you just heard to more structured events such as the networking dinners and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange.

Meet and share great ideas with chambers from across the country! Get the scoop on what other chambers are doing, and exchange best practices with peers who share your specific career discipline. All Division Idea Exchanges will take place in Destination Innovation.
Networking Dinners OR Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Outing
Wednesday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m.
Start building your network of connections the first night of the convention: either sign up for a Dutch-treat networking dinner or make plans to see the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Colorado Rockies. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll have fun catching up with old friends and making new ones! Registration details coming soon via email.
Share Tables/Knowledge Exchange

Destination Innovation Hall
Tables will be set up in Destination Innovation on both Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1, so you can share sample materials and promotional pieces with your colleagues—and pick up new ideas for yourself. Appropriate materials to bring include magazines, annual reports, invitations, e-newsletters, flyers, issue alerts, and other program pieces. If you have information you’d like placed on the share tables, please mail your items to your attention at the hotel where you will be staying, and then bring them to Destination Innovation on Thursday.
All attendees will be responsible for retrieving their box(es) from the hotel receiving area and placing them in the designated share table areas. Deliveries will not be accepted at the convention center. All unclaimed samples will be discarded on Friday evening.
