Economic & Community Development Division
Economic and Community Development is not limited to product sales and marketing. Product development is an equally important function of how economic development is practiced today. As such, chambers are well positioned to take an active role in developing the economy. This division is where economic development and other chamber professionals can network, learn and share best practices.
Program of Work
The Economic and Community Development Division will:
- Examine chambers' role in economic and community development;
- Provide ECD-specific programming at each ACCE convention;
- Offer webinars and other training during the year;
- Develop a collection or samples and links to useful documents on economic and community development;
- Prepare white papers on key economic and community development topics;
- Add economic and community development basics to the body of knowledge required for CCE designation.
