Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce - Buy Local First - Their statistics show that spending $100 at a locally owned business keeps $68 within the local economy vs. spending $100 at a non-locally owned business keeps $43 within the local economy. This flyer and contribution form encourages consumers to "think twice before purchasing goods and services out of town or on the internet" and includes steps for consumers and businesses to get started on shopping locally.
