Montgomery, Alabama reemerges as a top destination within the Southeast. Montgomery, Alabama has always been known as the Capital of the Confederacy and the Birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement, but thanks to a dramatic revitalization in the downtown area, Montgomery has reemerged as one of the must-see travel destinations in the South. Modern-day Montgomery offers a walkable downtown complete with a Riverfront Park and Riverboat, an urban farm that provides the local restaurants with produce, and enough attractions and historic sites to keep you busy for days. Montgomery’s downtown Alley entertainment convention center district heats up after dark with a vibrant atmosphere and features many of the city’s unique bars and restaurants.

Montgomery Area Visitor Guide - Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce

2014 ACE: Award of Excellence

Montgomery, Alabama’s story is America’s story. This serves as the local mantra in Montgomery. Yet, the typical visitor is not familiar with the city’s history. Or, if they are, they only recall the turbulence and unrest of the past. Visitor inquiries and visitor survey research results were presented to the Chamber/CVB – clearly indicating a need to re-shape the image of Montgomery. So, in 2011, the Chamber/CVB did just that and introduced a modernized, magazine style River Region visitor guide encompassing all the new and exciting things happening within the city, while still paying tribute to its history.  (See also the related sample record for the synopsis).

The Voice of the Rockford Business Community - Rockford Chamber of Commerce

The Voice of the Rockford Business Community is the Rockford Chamber of Commerce’s award-winning, full-color, 28-page tabloid-style business newspaper published each month. The chamber estimates it influences more than 30,000 readers monthly, with 6,000 copies printed and mailed to an average of 3,090 paid subscribers, 1,808 dropped off at 58 community distribution sites, and more passed to staff. The Voice also appears at www.rockfordchamber.com.

2012 Annual Report - Baton Rouge Area Chamber

2014 ACE: Award of Excellence

In 2012, the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) ended the second year of its five-year capital campaign, The Creative Capital Agenda, a strategic plan centered on six core strategies. Each year, BRAC releases an annual report to keep the investors and stakeholders in the campaign informed of the organization’s progress on these strategies and to generate excitement around upcoming activities. Over one hundred businesses in the region contribute to the campaign, at a high investment level, and it is crucial that they understand how their investment dollars are at work in order to remain committed to the campaign for the following year. The campaign continues to have a retention rate over 90 percent year over year and the annual report plays a large role in this success.

2013 Annual Summary - St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce

2014 ACE: Award of Excellence

Each year, the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce compiles a “report card” of its accomplishments for that year. The Annual Summary serves as a snapshot of our organization. Unlike an annual report, our 2013 Annual Summary provides quick highlights that showcase the efforts and results of the SJC Chamber and our affiliated partners and programs. Unlike a long drawn-out annual report, which typically includes company financials, our Annual Summary’s approach gives our members brief information in a capsulized, colorful format, making it more likely to be read.
