Today's chambers of commerce work to improve businesses and the community at large. Yet, most business owners or employees, when asked what a chamber of commerce does, don't know or can't give a complete answer.
Campaign Toolkits
Each of the three components, or Toolkits, features comprehensive coverage of a critical area of the Campaign:
- Messaging
- Advertising
- Public Relations
During the first quarter of 2006, Toolkits will be posted online monthly. Each posting will be quickly followed by a DIALogue teleseminar detailing how to take maximum advantage of the unique materials and messaging in that Toolkit -- and help you convey the value you bring to your community in a powerful new way.
The Message Infusion Toolkit:
Contains samples, worksheets, concepts, research, and more to help you build a targeted campaign for your local community. The Toolkit will help chambers:
- Clarify your marketing message
- Clarify your value proposition
- Better communicate your chamber's value
- Prepare needs-based selling collateral
- Measure the effectiveness of your efforts

Public Relations Toolkit:
- Can be customized for use on local level
- Includes quarterly op/ed under Mick Fleming’s signature. Members cannot release the same op/ed under their own signature, but can rewrite it to reflect how the local community may be affected by similar issues.

Training, Education, and Information Sources
- DIALogues
- Chamber Executive magazine articles, ACE award entries, publications, and/or samples in the online samples database that focus on communications, marketing, and PR will be made available to all members.
