Chamber of the Year

Beginning in 2007, ACCE annually recognizes four chambers of commerce for their work in Leading Businesses. Leading Communities.™ with the Chamber of the Year award. The award recognizes excellence in operations, member services, and community leadership, and expands upon and replaces the Award for Excellence (AFE).

The Chamber of the Year award involves a multi-stage process, which includes an application and interview.  New this year, the categories for the Chamber of the Year award are now based on TOTAL REVENUE. During all stages chambers will compete amongst peers from similar total income levels.  The fours levels are:

Total Revenue
$450,000 and under
$450,001 - $900,000
$900,001 - $2,000,000
$2,000,001 and up

Publicity and National Exposure
Chamber of the Year winners and finalists will experience heightened national attention via media advisories and a press conference. Finalists and winners are authorized to use the appropriate version of the Chamber of the Year logo in promoting their chambers and communities.
