Awards and Recognition

ACCE has many ways to recognize achievement in the chamber profession. Below are the awards and recognition programs available to chamber individuals and organizations.

Awards for Communication Excellence (ACE)

The Awards for Communication Excellence is a competition to recognize excellence in all areas of communication. The ACE program has been designed to honor, reward and celebrate the achievements of outstanding communication programs, campaigns and projects, and to comprehensively encompass all areas of “communication excellence." Learn more about ACE Awards.

Chamber of the Year

ACCE recognizes up to four chamber of commerce (one in each of four dues categories) for their work in leading businesses and communities with the Chamber of the Year designation.  The award will be presented at the annual Convention Awards Gala.  Learn more about the Chamber of the Year Award.

Chairman's Award

Each year ACCE's Chairman of the Board recognizes the achievements and contributions of an ACCE member by presenting that person with the Chairman's Award. Learn more about the Chairman's Award.

Life Member Award

This pinnacle award is bestowed by ACCE on those who retire after stellar careers in chamber leadership.  Recipients are nominated by their peers because they exemplify the four principal characteristics of chamber professionals. Learn more about the Life Member Award.

Membership Achievement Awards

Chambers of commerce who submit their numbers in the Annual Chamber Operations Survey are ranked (in comparison with chambers of similar size), and the top ten in the nation for member retention, net gain in new member dollars, or net gain in new members are recognized. Sales Contest
