Award for Communications Excellence (ACE Awards)
ACE Awards Requirements & Guidelines.
Requirements
1. Only ACCE member Chambers of Commerce or similar organizations may submit a piece. Vendors may NOT submit a piece on behalf of an organization.
2. Communication pieces and programs must have been completed between November 1, 2006 and October 31, 2007 to be eligible for the 2007 ACE Awards.
3. All Early Bird entries must be postmarked by February 15, 2008. All entries must be postmarked by February 25, 2008. Entries postmarked after this date will not be eligible.
4. If an entry is judged incomplete or not eligible upon review, it will be returned to the chamber with the entry fee, minus a $50 processing fee per entry returned.
5. When submitting your ACE entry(s) follow these steps to ensure your entry is complete:
- Complete the ACE entry form.
- Organize your entry with the summary, synopsis, supporting documents, and communication pieces in a 3-ring "view" binder.
- Include the entry fee.
- Early Bird $185 per entry for ACCE members, $166.50 per entry fee for Chairman Circle chambers.
- After February 15, 2008, the fee is $235 per entry for ACCE members, $211.50 per entry for Chairman Circle members.
- Include a cd of your synopsis, thumbnail, and electronic sample of the communication materials from your entry, or if you prefer email them to Jay Snyder at aceawards@acce.org by February 25, 2008.
Guidelines
1. On the ACE entry form please list the entry name as you would like it printed on any award you may win.
Examples of titles include "Nashville Area Chamber 2004-2005 Report to the Community" and "Chamber Centennial Celebration Invitation"
2. Each entry must be submitted in its own 3-ring "view" binder. If you are submitting more than one entry, you will need a binder for each entry.
3. Each entry must include a cd containing an electronic synopsis, thumbnail, and electronic sample. (Email submission is allowed.)
3. All entry materials become the property of ACCE and will not be returned.
