TriCounty (PA) Area Chamber of Commerce Names New President
Pottstown, PA -
The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce (TCACC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mr. P. Timothy Phelps has been hired as the President of the Chamber and will begin in his new position on Monday, April 7.
Fred C. Reim, Jr., TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board, stated that “A search committee, made up of members of the TCACC executive committee and past chairmen of the board, has been actively searching for a replacement for the Chamber’s current President, Dale Mahle, who announced her retirement in September. An extensive, national search process has been completed, including multiple interviews and a reception for board members to meet the finalists.”
Mr. Phelps has experience as a Vice President for the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and President of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater West Chester. He is a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Juniata College and currently serves on the Education Committee for the American Chamber of Commerce of Executives, the industry’s national professional organization.
The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce is a member based, business advocacy organization serving over 800 businesses in southeastern Berks, western Montgomery, and northern Chester Counties and along the Route 422 Corridor.
