Workforce Windfall in Tulsa?
Tulsa, OK -
The Tulsa (OK) Metro Chamber has something to smile about these days. HB 3114, a.k.a. the Oklahoma Workforce Incentives Act of 2008, just surmounted its first hurdle, winning approval from the state's house of representatives. The chamber-backed bill is designed to expand the state's tech workforce by providing tax credits for first-time-in-OK employees in the aerospace, energy, advanced manufacturing and processing, biotechnology, information technology and health care fields.
