2012 Chamber of the Year Finalists Announced

American Chamber of Commerce Executives is pleased to announce the finalists for this year's prestigious Chamber of the Year competition. The winners in each category will be announced at this year’s annual ACCE convention Aug. 1-4 in Louisville, Ky.

ACCE's Brazil Experience

In late April, 25 ACCE chamber executives joined ACCE President Mick Fleming for a six-day business and cultural awareness tour of Brazil. The trip, made possible through the generosity of ACCE official corporate sponsor ABC Destinations, featured stops in the coastal city of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil’s fastest-growing city and considered to be one of the world’s largest urban centers.

ACCE Participates in 2nd MAKO Conference

Ian Scott, ACCE’s vice president for communications and networks, joined more than 300 chamber professionals from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma for the 2^nd annual MAKO conference, April 29 - May 1. The conference at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Mo., provided professional development and networking opportunities for chamber executives and professionals from the four adjoining states.
